Amy Hinton, CEP, began her career in the financial industry in 2002, working alongside her father, Bernie Lemily, CLU, AEP. As his apprentice, Amy loved watching her father and how he worked with people. She knew from an early age that she shared his passion for people and that it was her destiny to follow in his footsteps.

After joining the family-owned estate and retirement planning firm founded by her father, Amy expanded her roles and eventually became president. She merged the firm with Hinton Financial in 2020 with her father’s blessing before his passing in 2019.

Now the president and owner of Hinton Financial, Amy has a passion for helping her clients understand the risks, rewards and implications of their retirement choices. She also enjoys showing them how their retirement strategies should change as their lifestyles and needs change. Her goal is to take the guesswork out of retirement income strategies as she helps clients plan for a secure retirement. Amy holds her life and health insurance licenses and has earned the Certified Estate Planner™ (CEP) designation.

Amy resides in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with her husband, Brad, and their two children, Knox and Ava. They love spending quality time together, and are very active in their church, local sports and school activities.
